* Make sure the firearm is unloaded. Remove the magazine and double check that the chamber is empty.
* Remove the barrel band (if your rifle has one) and the takedown screw in front of the magazine well, then remove the action/barrel assembly from the stock.
* Remove the two trigger-group pins and slide the trigger-group out from the bottom of the receiver.
* Remove the bolt-stop pin from the rear of the receiver by pushing from one side out the other (this is the largest pin in the receiver).
* With the rifle upside down, pull the bolt-handle to the rear and lift the front of the bolt until it is disengaged from the bolt-handle. Pull the bolt-handle out of the receiver through the ejection port.
* Use a quality gun oil to lubricate the spring and guide rod of the Custom Charging Handle. Slide the handle into place through the ejection port of the receiver, making sure that the pointed tip of the guide rod fits into the recessed area at the rear.
* Pull the handle to the rear, compressing the spring, and lower the bolt into the receiver fitting the handle and bolt together. Allow the bolt to move forward slowly.
* Install the bolt-stop pin, trigger-group, and stock, then you're ready to
